Octavio Garabello (born 1983, Buenos Aires) is an artist based in Berlin, where he lives and works.
He studied Fine Arts at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires (2002–2006), and later participated in the Art Clinic led by Diana Aisenberg (2006–2009). From 2009 to 2010, he attended the Artist Program under Prof. Jorge Macchi at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires.
Garabello has presented numerous solo exhibitions, including Reverberations (2025) at Plattenbau Tempelhofer Feld, Berlin; an untitled exhibition (2024) and A Sky Without Airplanes (2022) at Mommsen35 Gallery, Berlin; Sábanas frescas (2019) at Sly Smud Gallery, Buenos Aires; Weekend in Lithuania (2019) at Weserhalle Gallery, Berlin; Ventanas (2018) at Otero Gallery, Buenos Aires; About Rixdorf (2017) at Balera Weinladung’s Gallery, Berlin; and Es probable (2015) at Mite Gallery, Buenos Aires.
His work has also been included in group exhibitions such as Camino de cintura (2021) at Kreisler Gallery, Madrid; Intimismos (2020) at LaCa Projects, Charlotte, NC; Que le dijo una pintura a otra (2019) at Alto Refugio Gallery, Buenos Aires; Me gusta pero me asusta (2019) at Mario Kreuzberg Gallery, Berlin; Someplace Special (2018) at Gillmeier Rech Gallery, Berlin; a group exhibition at Empty Brain Resort 1, Vilnius (2018); The Surface of the Shrimp (2017) at Free Port Halle, Berlin; and the UV Collection (2017) at Funkhaus Berlin.
